Meet Founder
Chinelo Okafor is a Performance Engineer and founder of Play n Learn Tech, a gamified tech web app designed to equip secondary school students with digital and soft skills. With a background in telecommunications and data analysis, she transitioned into edtech to bridge the digital literacy gap. Chinelo’s journey began when she witnessed a colleague struggle with basic digital skills, inspiring her to create accessible learning solutions. The Story Behind Daisy Tech Play n Learn
The story behind Daisy Tech Play n Learn began when Chinelo Okafor, a Performance Engineer, witnessed the struggles of digital illiteracy firsthand. She was once asked to teach an older colleague Microsoft Excel or risk her losing her job, despite her years of experience. This moment sparked her mission to bridge the digital skills gap for young learners.
After visiting schools and hosting events, she noticed that children naturally gravitate toward games in their free time. This insight led to the creation of Daisy Tech Play n Learn Tech, a gamified, AI-powered web app designed to teach secondary school students digital and soft skills in an engaging way.
